"Changing the World, One Story at a Time" is the theme of the 11th Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF). Taking place October 11-14, 2012, UMFF brings an exciting creative and technological atmosphere that encompasses cultural diversity. This three-day festival showcases award-winning international films and writers, as well as provide guest speakers, panels, workshops, and vendors. With over 11 awards categories, participants compete for over $20,000 in prizes and awards. All genres -- animations, documentaries, feature films, key art designs, music videos, short films, TV/web series and youth films. UMFF 2012 provides actors, animators, writers, filmmakers, musicians, graphic designers, gamers and content developers with education, networking and opportunities to collaborate on future projects. We look forward to see you at the festival!

Restrictions

We use a rating system on all of our films. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed in films rate PG-13 or R. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 9 are not allowed in workshops. The Youth Screening Series on Saturday is open to all youth.
